When Kelsey and Daniel asked if I wanted to travel to Washington to photograph their wedding, I nearly jumped with excitement. Not only was I excited to travel to the Pacific Northwest for the first time, but I was stoked to be photographing these two and all the wonderful things their wedding day would hold. Being a desert dweller, I immediately started imagining how lovely the location would be and how elegant the bridal party would look against all the greenery.
But, guys, this wedding exceeded all the expectations I had in every possible way.

Tiffany and Levi are people you fall instantly in love with. When you talk to them for the first time, you are immediately greeted with genuine kindness. They ask questions, make you feel important and the two big smiles you were initially met with never fade. When you leave, you feel like you’ve talked to two friends you’ve known for ages even if it was a conversation that only lasted an hour!
The first time I captured their relationship for their engagement portraits, I couldn’t believe how compassionate and respectful they were. Not only to me, but toward one other. I admired how one moment would be engulfed in passionate laughter while the next would be filled with soft intimacy. Their relationship is a perfect balance and witnessing it was absolutely magical!

Because we all hear those horror stories, right? The ones about something happening on a wedding day and suddenly nothing goes the way it was planned. One of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer is when I get to photograph weddings in a new place! So, you can imagine my excitement when I found out I would be photographing Katie and Adam’s wedding at the LDS Temple in Phoenix! However, the perfection of this day went far beyond their location!
Their marriage created an atmosphere that radiated excitement. From the moment the doors of the temple opened, everyone knew the two of them were so ready to be married. When they came out, they had the biggest smiles, Adam proudly raised his arm in the air and their families cheered ecstatically!
