When Kelsey and Daniel asked if I wanted to travel to Washington to photograph their wedding, I nearly jumped with excitement. Not only was I excited to travel to the Pacific Northwest for the first time, but I was stoked to be photographing these two and all the wonderful things their wedding day would hold. Being a desert dweller, I immediately started imagining  how lovely the location would be and how elegant the bridal party would look against all the greenery.

But, guys, this wedding exceeded all the expectations I had in every possible way.

When I arrived, I started capturing details that made me feel like I was in photographer heaven. The invitations were white with a floral pattern, which complimented the colors in the stunning bridal bouquet Kelsey created herself (isn’t she amazing?!). Kelsey wore a gown from Blue Sky Bridal that had beautiful lace, which was complimented by her gorgeous Kendra Scott jewelry. By the time she was finished getting ready, my heart just about melted over how perfect she looked. Not only did she look stunning, but she was also glowing out of excitement.

Kelsey and Daniel’s anticipation grew as we prepared for their first look. Kelsey couldn’t stop beaming as she walked up to Daniel. When he turned to see his bride for the first time, tears swelled up in his eyes. They laughed, cried and embraced as it set in that they were finally getting married.

As their ceremony began, everyone was speechless as Kelsey walked down the aisle with her father. Her veil illuminated against the sunlight, making her look angelic. As she approached the altar, Daniel couldn’t have looked more proud that he was marrying her. He expressed his gratefulness to her as he read hand-written vows and Kelsey responded with a series of heart-felt promises (which left most of us in tears). The audience erupted in cheers as they kissed and were finally declared husband and wife!

Following the ceremony, Kelsey and Daniel celebrated with their closest friends and family at the Tin Roof Barn. They danced with their loved ones and fully embraced the start of their new life together. The atmosphere was filled with the upmost happiness for these two, the love they have grown over the past six years and their marriage which will continue to flourish for a lifetime.
