If there was a visual definition for “tasteful elegance,” it would be Tiffany’s boudoir session. Not only do her photographs depict how stunning she looks, but they also embrace the amazing, compassionate and absolutely incredible person she is.
The first time I met Tiffany, I was capturing her engagement portraits with Levi (her now-husband!) in the desert. She was so wonderfully kind and genuinely one of the sweetest people I had ever met. Following their engagement session, they asked me to travel with them to Michigan to photograph their beautiful destination wedding at the Royal Park Hotel. Her wedding was one of my favorites to capture and it was because of how much of a treasure Tiffany was to photograph the entire day. It was such an amazing experience working with her each time that I was absolutely delighted when she asked this year if we could create romantic boudoir photographs for Valentine’s Day.
For her session, we wanted to create several different looks that combined soft femininity with a visual celebration of self-love. We took things like the gorgeous one-pieces she wore and added elements she adores like confetti, rosé and a milk bath sprinkled with light florals. Combining her confidence with things she loved helped create images that genuinely celebrated her.
To say her session was a joy to photograph would be an understatement. The images we created turned out to be some of my absolute favorites because we captured Tiffany’s strong, loving personality while having fun, making her feel proud of who she is and celebrating that amazingly beautiful, lovely person.
